З 1 по 13 серпня експорт сільськогосподарської продукції з України зменшився на 57% порівняно з аналогічним періодом липня, за даними Spike Brokers.

Ukraine exported 790.7 thousand tons of agricultural products from August 1-13, compared to 1.849 million tons in the same period of July, a decrease of 57.2%, according to the brokerage company Spike Brokers.

According to their data, export value decreased by 37.3% to $478.8 million, compared to $763.8 million in the corresponding period of July.

“The main constraint on the August pace is concentrated in the grain segment. Simultaneously, the geography of logistics is changing: the flow through seaports is significantly lower than in July, while road crossings and western railway corridors are operating more intensively,” the report states.

From August 1-13, 130.1 thousand tons of agricultural products were exported through road border crossings, compared to 119.5 thousand tons in the corresponding 13 days of July, an increase of 8.9%. Exports through Hungary increased the most by 32.9%, through Slovakia by 28%, through Romania by 14.1%, and through Poland by 3.7%. The flow through Moldova was close to the July level, decreasing by approximately 1.9%.

In contrast, as of August 12, 435.8 thousand tons of grain cargo were transported by rail, which is 46.9% less than in the corresponding period of July and 52.1% less than in August 2025. The average daily load for the first 11 days of August was 31.3 thousand tons, 38% lower than in July and 49% less than a year ago.

The export component of rail grain transport decreased by 72% compared to July, to 201.7 thousand tons. Of this volume, 63% was through border crossings, and 29% was through the ports of Odesa. Only 75.2 thousand tons of grain were transported through the ports of Odesa during the reporting period, compared to 656.4 thousand tons in the comparable period of July (-88.5%).

At the same time, the average daily transfer of grain wagons through western border crossings for the first 11 days of August increased to 139.6 wagons, compared to 71.3 wagons in July, an increase of 96%.

According to Spike Brokers, the main increase was provided by the Romanian and Polish directions, reaching 44.7 and 44.4 wagons per day, respectively. In the direction of Slovakia, the transfer increased to 26.9 wagons per day, while the Hungarian direction decreased to 23.6 wagons.

As of August 12, there were 8.718 thousand wagons en route to border crossings, compared to 7.858 thousand previously. In particular, the number of grain wagons increased from 369 to 693 wagons, or by 87.8%.

Rail transport of vegetable oil for export amounted to 41.5 thousand tons, which is 0.9% more than the corresponding July figure, with 89% of the volume passing through land crossings.

Spike Brokers notes that the sea-rail channel remains the weakest link in current logistics. As of August 13, the average daily unloading towards the ports of Greater Odesa decreased to 146 wagons, and 262 grain wagons were moving towards the ports. There were 1.32 thousand grain wagons en route to the Danube ports.
