The Head of State announced this during the Ukrainian Youth Forum, as reported by an Ukrinform correspondent.
“Putin does not want to stop this war, but he will stop it. We have a plan. We understand what we need to do. This is a joint plan with our partners on how to exert pressure on him. In any case, our military must hold the front. When they hold the front, it allows the president to conduct a strong dialogue with the enemy. If the situation on the battlefield is not strong enough, the dialogue turns into excessive compromises. And this is not in our interests,” Zelenskyy explained.
He emphasized that Ukraine’s main strategy today is to counteract Putin’s strategy.
The President of Ukraine, in particular, recalled that the Russian dictator aims to increase mobilization and enlist as many people as possible into the army.
In this context, Zelenskyy urged Ukraine’s international partners to strengthen support, especially in the area of air defense. He identified retaliatory strikes as one of the tasks for the Defense Forces.
“We need to bring the war back to Russian territory. After that, Russian society will feel the consequences of this war and will exert pressure on the authorities,” the Head of State noted.

As previously reported, during a meeting of ambassadors, Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine would make every effort to end the war with Russia before the start of winter.
