The Head of State announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
“On my way from Washington, I had a conversation with President Macron. I informed Emmanuel about the details of the meetings at the White House and the US Senate, and the current diplomatic prospects. We must seize every opportunity that can bring us closer to peace, and we coordinated our potential steps. Thank you for your readiness to help and make all necessary efforts,” Zelenskyy noted.
According to him, Macron spoke about the large-scale fires in France. “Ukraine is always ready to help those who have been helping us throughout these years of our struggle against Russian aggression. I offered France the necessary assistance. Our specialists can join in extinguishing the fires,” the head of the Ukrainian state assured.
He added that the discussion also covered preparations for winter, including the supply of air defense and energy packages that Ukraine needs.

As reported, Volodymyr Zelenskyy paid a visit to the USA. He held meetings with US President Donald Trump and senators. Following this meeting, the US Senate approved a procedural decision necessary for further consideration of a bipartisan bill on sanctions against Russia and Iran, supporting it with 86 votes to 12. The document grants the US President the authority to impose tariffs on the five largest buyers of Russian oil and natural gas.
Zelenskyy paid tribute to Senator Lindsey Graham at a special memorial service in Washington. The aforementioned bill was initiated by Graham.
