As Ukrinform reports, Koretsky announced this on Facebook.
“Russia is systematically destroying Ukrainian book publishing. Russians constantly attack printing houses, publishing houses, and book warehouses. In July alone, 1.5 million copies of Ukrainian books were destroyed, and the losses amount to hundreds of millions of hryvnias,” Koretsky noted.
During the attack on July 19, one of the printing houses lost its production facilities and over 400,000 school textbooks. Other enterprises in the industry were also affected.

“Even with limited budget resources, the state will find an opportunity to support the Ukrainian book. This will help enterprises resume operations, replenish the collections of public libraries, and preserve the capacity of Ukrainian book publishing,” Koretsky emphasized.
As Ukrinform reported, over 1.5 million books and textbooks from Ukrainian publishers were destroyed as a result of Russian attacks in July.
